Quite often when families adopt their child(ren) from China, they bring them home with many unanswered questions.

These include questions about their orphanage, their caregiver(s), their medical history, their foster family, etc.

After the fact, it is often very difficult to track down the right person who can answer some of these unknowns.

A Simple Process

You provide to us your child’s orphanage name, date of birth, adoption date, and any other relevant information, and our people in China contact the orphanage that your child came from.

We Get You Results

We will determine if they still hold records on the child, if any of the current orphanage staff were caregivers for your child, and any information we can get regarding Foster Parents, and essentially try to track down any leads to people with first hand knowledge of your child who can provide us with information.

Anything we find is then translated and formatted into a digital report which is emailed to you.

As an adoptive parent that took 6 years before being able to be united with my child, I thought that I had come to terms with the issues of the remaining unknowns that accompanied adoption from China.

How to Start

To start the process, just click on the ’Get Started Now’ button below.

We will ask you some preliminary questions to determine if we will seek approval for your report.

If we decide to take your case, we will ask you to provide the information about your child mentioned above, we will contact the orphanage to determine if there is available information, staff who had contact with your child, or information on Foster Parents.

Upon verification of available information, and permission from the SWI to proceed, we will confirm whether or not you want to proceed with the interview process. If you choose to move forward at this point, we will then invoice you for the report. Simply remit payment for the invoice and we will proceed.

You are encouraged to provide us a list of questions that you would like answers to! (This is the exciting part!)

We conduct our interviews, gather information, take pictures, and compile your report.

This process usually involves a great deal of back and forth questions with orphanage staff and anyone who had contact with your child that can provide us information.

Please be patient, this can be a lengthy process, but the wait is well worth it.

You will receive your report in email in PDF format when we have finalized it.

What kinds of information can we expect to get?

While each and every childs situation is different, we will do our best to secure as much information as possible.

We look at it like this: we have one shot to go in and get as much information as possible, and we press to get as much as we can without risking our relationships with Directors and Staff of SWI’s.

Not all SWI’s keep records, and the quality of information varies from situation to situation, you can however be assured we will advocate on your behalf to get everything they have!

If records and staff or caregivers who had contact with your child are available, we will attempt to set up an interview to review any records they may have or information they can share.

In some cases, if your child was in foster care, we may be able to interview the foster family also. We will also get any photos relevant to the time your child was in that care.

SWI’s have been very closed about this in some cases, so we cannot guarantee we will get access to foster parents, in some cases the SWI’s may no longer have records or contact information.

Again, we assure you we will hunt down any available leads to provide the most comprehensive report we can.

When your report is completed, we will translate all information and compile it in PDF format. We will send seperate files including photos if applicable.
